Gödöllő Palace- Check

Gödöllő Palace- Check, something on my list of things to do before I leave Hungary. Thankfully, it was a short day trip away, only a 30 minute ride on the Suburban )HEV) 'light rail/tram'. Thankfully I had two other close friends join me on the excursion!

This palace is tied to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It was a vacation home for the 'Royal Family.' Quick history lesson~ The main palace was in Vienna (2 hr train ride from Budapest), which I toured last Christmas with my parents.

It was not as exciting as I was expecting, but it was just fun to get away for a day and explore a new part of the country!
