For 1 weekend the whole community comes out to watch basketball. this is the view of the crowd in the gym just before the start of the boys championship game.
In the past the boys have won, and of course they won this year again! The whole school mostly is there and the students raided the court at the final game buzzer with garage sacks full of balloons to throw up in celebration. Then they all get together and do what they call the basketball dance. A long standing tradition at ICSB! 
Then of course some of my boys were in the middle of the action! One told me a few weeks before at the Senior Auction that he was bidding on a stuffed bulldog so that he could bring it to the tournament and hold it up and cheer! They are so precious!
